ABOUT Frankenmuth FunShips...
Frankenmuth FunShips debuted in the spring of 2009, however, Jerry and Bev were not new to the riverboating business, as they established the first Riverboat tour business in Frankenmuth in 1988, the Riverview Queen, a 60 passenger paddlewheeler. Prior to that, in 1982, Jerry and Bev pioneered the first horse drawn carriage service in Frankenmuth.
Frankenmuth FunShips offers a somewhat different experience than that first riverboat. The smaller electric boats offer the unique qualities of a more personalized setting that is totally void of the noise, odor, and pollution of diesel or gas engines. It is this unique setting that contributes to your memorable Frankenmuth experience.
Businesses may hold special small group meetings in this setting, entertain clients, or offer a cruise as a special customer appreciation gift.
Special celebrations of any type, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, and a host of others will find the setting aboard these unique craft complimentary to their celebration. Chartering two boats for certain sized groups offers the fun opportunity to have the FunShips sail side by side while the groups interact between boats. Your favorite adult beverage on board together with catered food items of your choosing will further enhance your experience.

Frankenmuth FunShips also offers a second water activity – the paddlewheel Aqua Cycle rental. This fun activity will provide an affordable experience that people will want to enjoy over and over. This paddleing adventure for individuals or groups up to four not only offers a self directed water adventure, it provides a healthful cardio exercise without the boredom associated with the use of conventional exercise equipment. Added accessories on the Aqua Cycle include a front bench, and a bimini top that will allow for a comfortable experience, especially if you choose to take a lunch on board.
