Please feel free to contact us directly at 989-652-3400 during store hours to have any questions you might have be answered. Listed below are some frequently asked questions that will help you plan your next visit with us.
• What are your hours of operation?
Our normal tour schedule and aqua cycle rental begins at 11:00 am until early evening. Both are available outside these hours upon request. In-store tastings begin at 10:00 am and end when our store closes. Store hours vary by season.
• Do I need a reservation?
Not necessarily; however, to assure you of that day's schedule, or to reserve an aqua cycle, or to book an electric boat tour that fits your schedule, we suggest you call our store at (989) 652-3400.
• How do I find you?
We are in "mid-town" Frankenmuth at the top of the hill between the Frankenmuth Brewery and the Marv Herzog Hotel. We board at our chocolate & wine store, where tickets may be purchased (see map under "Contact" tab). The river is behind these buildings, out of sight from Main Street.
• What about inclement weather?
The electric boats can be totally enclosed and are quite comfortable should it rain. Of course, we would cancel if the weather would be too stormy or inclement that participation would be dangerous or uncomfortable. We would then offer full refunds for any advance purchases.
• What about motion and rough water?
The water is calm, and the river is narrow enough to always be close to shore. There is little or no sensation of movement that should cause discomfort.
• Are there life jackets on board?
Yes, the electric boats are DNR certified and adequate life jackets are on board. The captain is also DNR certified. As for the aqua cycle rentals, comfortable life vests are provided and are required for each passenger.
• Are the tours aboard the electric boats narrated?
The captains are very knowledgeable and informative, mention points of interest, and interact with guests based upon their interests.
• Where do I park?
Parking is available across the street from our wine & chocolate store.
• What about method of payment?
We accept cash or most major credit cards.
• What if I need to cancel my reservation?
All cancellations must be made by 11 a.m. the day of your reservation to avoid a cancellation fee.
